i went broke on NL several times, and now (except of tournaments of course), i'm done with it. it's not because i'm too bad generally, it's because of my inability to ignore tilting-situations. i go nuts and fuck my money up, that's how it goes all the time. playing limit holdem, even when taking heavy bad beats (which will happen often at my current level, which is .10/.20), i don't tilt anymore. the swings are less significant and don't bother me as much as in NL (though i didn't face any long term downsing in lhe yet). i'm going to take the long and easy lhe grind for the future. wish me luck!
edit: i'm removing the "br" section on the right of this site.
current br: about $50. (yes, fuck fuck fuck, i'm starting lhe out of my bankroll, but i don't care. )

Down Down Down
long time since my last update. i don't think THAT many guys/girls look into my blog anyways so i keep it short:
down to about $100, i'm not really in the mood to talk about this, but i'm going to grind it out at .5.10 again! wish me luck.
greetings, travis.

yesterday was really shitty. my game just doesn't fit cash games it seems. gonna play tournaments now. something in my game has changed which makes me run deep into almost every tournament where i don't get bad beats. idk what it is, but wish me luck. i'm in the micro grind now.

todays session
i played from 12:30 pm to 17:00 pm today and solely grinded .5/.10 ring. the day began good with the third hand:
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: HTML)
saw flop|saw showdown
MP ($1.85)
CO ($9.75)
Button ($5.70)
SB ($13.20)
BB ($3.75)
UTG ($22.25)
Preflop: Hero is CO with Qd, Qs.
1 fold, MP raises to $0.4, CO raises to $1, 1 fold, SB calls $0.95, 1 fold, MP raises to $1.85, CO raises to $9.75, SB calls $8.75.
Flop: ($21.45) Qh, 9s, 5s (3 players)
Turn: ($21.45) Ts (3 players)
River: ($21.45) 2s (3 players)
Final Pot: $21.45
Results in white below:
SB doesn't show.
MP doesn't show.
Hero has Qd Qs (flush, queen high).
Outcome: Hero wins $21.45.
however, that also was the only notable hand for today, as the other things were just standard calls/folds an many many many many cbets. however, after a few ups and downs I'm up to $140.39 today.
maybe I'll throw in some sngs and / or mtts later. for now i'm on break.
greetings,
travis

This is the end for today. The 5.50 6 max was shit, the 2.25 mtt was shit too, but i cashed at least. i threw in some 0.05/0.10 6 max. my br is at 109.81 and im fine with that. good night.
Update
I'm out 36th. I made 3 stupid mistakes which cost me all my chips. narf.
I think I'm in the Zone though so I'm playing 2 other tournaments at the moment as well. BR is at $101 now.

Session Update.
After a mixed 5 hours of ring games / sit'n'goes / tournamenst, I'm up to 84.44, which is a profit of $9.44 today (which I'm perfectly fine with).
But the day is not at its end yet, as I'm still playing out of my roll in the 5K guaranteed 5.50 tournament with 70.000 and 7th in chiplead (already in the money, about 400 people left). Wish me luck!

Welcome...
... to my new blog. This one was used for various things earlier, but from now on it's going to be a poker blog, where I will be posting hands and story from my poker sessions. I'm mainly going to play tournaments (1-3$), but after i reach a nice comfy bankroll for .5/.10NL I will also be doing some cash games. My starting bankroll is 75$ and i'm gonna see what I'm going to do with it.
greetings to all the fcp fellas and
wish me good luck!
greetings,
travis
